Ben joined Adams Consulting Engineers in 2014. In the 15 years prior to this, he has gained wide experience in the design of retail, commercial, industrial, civil infrastructure and residential projects. Projects have included the redevelopment of existing buildings and sites as well as new developments on green field sites. He aims to produce cost effective designs that are both easily constructed and user friendly. Ben has gained significant site experience through the construction supervision of a number of complex projects. Ben has also worked in the UK where he was involved in a diverse range of structural projects. Projects completed during this time include The National Aquarium, refurbishment on the 300-year-old Royal Institute Buildings, also in London, and the preliminary design of a 700-bed prison in central Scotland. Ben, and the team he leads, is currently involved in the creation of preliminary designs, design documentation and construction phase project supervision across a range of market sectors, with all of these roles benefiting greatly from Ben’s exceptional problem-solving skills.
