We were engaged by Architecture Matters to work on the Montrose Town Centre redevelopment project. The new design involved refurbishing and connecting two existing buildings, a community hall and a library/meeting building. Additionally, a new maternal and child health facility and public toilets were incorporated.
By strategically linking and transforming isolated buildings, the project created a unified and purpose-built facility that caters to the diverse needs of the local community.
The expanded complex provides an enhanced civic presence in the park, with a centralised entry and reception area that offers efficient staffing and convenient access for all users.
